We had our first date in March '22

Not knowing that four years later, we'd be saying 'I do'

Soon enough it was time for a second date

'This is the one', David immediately said to his mate

From there the dates came thick and fast

We just knew in our hearts this was going to last

Falling in love, meeting friends and our folks

Somehow Siobhan even liked David's terrible jokes

Holidays, fun and gigs — the next few years just flew

Living life to the full — we couldn't believe this was true

Moving in together, giving up one of our flats

It was then Siobhan realised how much she loved our cats

Flying to New York with a ring, David hoped for a happily ever after

The performance he gave should have got him a BAFTA

And now here we are as our wedding draws near

Wanting to invite those who we hold so dear
